Your writing always substantiates my journey. Sometimes you bump against ideas larger than can be contained in the few paragraphs allotted, so you default to "pointing". This point sends me far:

Carl Jung’s idea of archetypes matters to me here not as a cast of fixed characters, but as a way of noticing forms that recur across otherwise different lives. The Wavelength is “archetypal” in that sense. It is not a prediction that tells me what happens next. It is a pattern language that helps me locate myself inside change.

Sooo we can see a time of contraction as a time for noticing the recurring forms embedded in the laws of change - forms that we inhabit for a time. Am I feeling myself a scapegoat - or the residue of all scapegoats at all times performing the work of some kind of holy balance, of which I am blessed to touch but briefly. Let me not just cry about it. But cry to reinhabit Joan of Arc at the stake. Or Gandhi uttering "Hey Ram" at the moment the bullet pierced his chest. Uniform energies of persecution driving toward some transpersonal destination.

"locating myself inside change"

these were big words of yours. Can we even imagine their significance? Not really.

It takes waiting til that next big , rug pulling, dead drop of exhaustion/humiliation to come around again - to show me somatically the figurative truth of suffering. Finding myself a brief vessel of silenced forms of pain so much larger than I, connecting me to the hidden drive of Change Itself. Maybe the descents from peak ain't such the waste of life energies as they appear
